In 2002, he established Halat Group for General Trading and Construction in Iraq, where he oversaw the development of Shifa Hospital in Erbil, a well-respected healthcare facility. In 2005, he further expanded the group's portfolio by investing in Spark, the exclusive dealer of Vitra in Iraq, which has since become a leading supplier of sanitary ware and interior products. Spark also became the official distributor of Vovo, which is an important turning point in the group's growth. In 2010, he became the exclusive dealer for Villeroy & Boch in the region.
